Founded in 2011

The mission of The Cultural Arts Center in Southwest City is to introduce and promote cultural awareness and opportunities to area communities with the purpose of expanding appreciation and participation in a variety of activities. These activities include, but are not limited to: art, education, history, literature, music, and theater. Attention and sensitivity is given to responding to the growing and diverse ethnic groups represented in our communities.

In addition, The CACSWC will be responsible for the renovation and preservation of the historic 1886 Presbyterian Church building that has been donated to the area communities for the purpose of establishing a cultural center.

The Southwest City Arts Center is a Non Profit Community Based Arts and Education Center, a 501(c)(3) organization.
